Office Visits

We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care, safely and gently.

Your first visit is all about you

During your first visit, we will ask you about your goals and concerns regarding your dental health. We will review your dental and medical history, take necessary X-rays and photographs, and complete a thorough examination of your mouth and teeth.

Dr. Urback or Dr. Momany will create a customized treatment plan designed to reach your goals. Usually at a separate visit, our treatment coordinator will meet with you to discuss your findings and answer any questions you may have, including the type of cleaning that is best for your teeth and gums. At your next visit, one of our hygienists will perform the appropriate cleaning and polish your teeth.

Remember to bring the following to your first appointment:

  • Your completed patient information forms, if you have not completed them online
  • Your dental benefits card
  • Your picture identification
  • Your smile

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy. A shorter interval may be recommended based your personal situation.
